175.764 Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Chronic and Complex Disorders (15 credits)
This course examines the success and long term understanding of specific empirically supported cognitive models, and assessment and clinical strategies useful in the treatment of chronic and complex disorders including personality disorders, some psychotic disorders, and the management of complex clinical problems.
Note(s): Note(s): This course has a restricted number of places available. If you have not been approved for progression to the CBT programme, your admission to this course cannot be guaranteed. Final selection for places will be determined by the School of Psychology in mid January.
Note: You may enrol in a postgraduate course (that is a 700-, 800- or 900-level course) if you meet the prerequisites for that course and have been admitted to a qualification which lists the course in its schedule.
- Students must have completed and passed the previous 3 Postgraduate Diploma in CBT courses namely 175.761, 175.762 and 175.763.
